How? Mr. Lieberman says he has made his position absolutely clear to Mr. Reid. And Mr. Reid, all agree, is a wily tactician. So does he think Mr. Lieberman, and the two or three conservative Democrats who share his inclination, will give in at the end? Or is there some artful compromise that can be seen as including and not including a public option at the same time?

Will The Higher Education Industry in VA Keep Raising Tuition & Fees?
California students have had enough.
Higher Education at our public universities is used by businesses, professors, and staff to soak students. There is no way on God's Green Earth that a degree in psychology should cost like $50,000 over four years to attain.
You need a building, a book, and a professor willing to teach.
Our new Gov. Elect Bob McDonnell only addressed the high cost of books in his campaign? Lord knows we don't want to lose any votes from the higher ed community? They don't vote for Republicans anyhow.... What about offending the businesses that prey on the higher education Industry? Gotta get their votes.... Pretty much political cowardice for not calling out the Democat Governors records of the past two decades, and comparing it to Gov. Allen's and Gilmore's record on freezing and reducing tuition.
You would be gaining votes from the parents who face the bills, and students wise enough to figure out the scam. Oh, but Lord forbid that you miss some fund raising dollars from the businesses soaking the process huh? Wonder why VDOT is a freaking mess... think Higher Ed is any different?
If I were the homebuilders, and car dealers in VA I would do something about students coming out of college with $300 and $400 a month in student loan payments.... It hinders their ability to buy bigger houses and new cars doesn't it? Long term soaking students in tuition and fees hurts our overall economy.
But if you are a banker.... They Love it! Govt. backed student loan programs.... soaking the working class as usual.... If only the Democrats weren't such hypocrites.... Show me a Democrat Gov. that hasn't worked to double tuition during their four year terms.... Namely you Tim Kaine... oh leader of the Democrats.... gonna get some big fat banker donations buddy? Just like Senator Mark Warner....
What is hilarious is the moron students who believe they aren't being screwed by their liberal idols... Wake up and look at the numbers, facts and figures you brain dead idiots!
