• All is ALMOST Right With the World Today
  Yesterday I had finally had enough of my slow-running comprooter and decided to format the drive. It took me about an hour to save all my data, then another hour to do the format and re-install XP. Then the fun part started. I have installed all of my office programs and my webbynet programs, but I have noticed there are some Firefox bolt-ons that are no longer available to me.
  
  Such is the nature of technology. I expected things to be a tad wonky for a couple of days, but oddly enough, I have done this enough times to be pretty good at it and everything is working perfectly, SO FAR. YAY! ME!
  
  (The worst part about this is that I forgot to save my dictionary. Now, all of the MoM colloquialisms are going to have to be manually added for the next year.)
  
  Today I have to install my architect-y software and I KNOW, without any doubt, that might cause a few hiccups. I am not terrified, though. I'll muddle through it and all will workout fine with that, too.
  
  Anyhoo, that is why I have been slow in responding to the comments since yesterday. Thanks, Basil, for telling me what to fix on the MoM's SEC Jersey Store! It worked beautifully. My friends are Teh Awesomatic!

• Teh Google Drive-by Blogging - On Labor Day
  
  
  It never ceases to amaze me how smart Teh Google Guys are with technology and how freaking stupid they are with American History.
  
  Seriously, anyone got a clue why there is a United States flag on the homepage on LABOR DAY? Is there another federal holiday that is MORE unAmerican than Labor Day? Have we gotten stupid enough to make Cinco de Mayo into a federal holiday yet?
  
  On to the Teh Google links...
  
  I have been working with Docs for quite some time and have just now started to need to collaborate with another person. Teh Google Docs has that in SPADES.
  
  I am about to try to use the drawing function in Docs, too. I'll keep you posted on the experience, I am sure.
  
  I played around with Teh Google Wave a bit, but never really found a determined purpose for it. But, when Teh Google announced they were killing it, I started to cry. It is NOT DEAD. Just sleeping. Here's more on Wave.
  
  At the same time, I am really enjoying Buzz and here are some more changes. They have added tracking and some other junk.
  
  By the way, Teh Google must be on vacation or something.
